In detail

  • The inquiry form: your name, company, work email, role, phone number (optional), the scopes you select, your timeline and your brief.
  • When your browser runs the site's scripts, the form also sends the page you sent it from, the address of the page that referred you, any campaign tag in the page address, and a reference number such as B9-123456, which the form also shows you after sending. We receive it as an email titled with that reference and your name, set so that our reply goes to your email address. With scripts off, these extra details are not sent and the email has the fixed title "B9 inquiry from berry9.com".
  • If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send and your contact details.
  • Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser and time of each request) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept by our hosting provider, GoDaddy.
  • If you accept analytics, Google Analytics measures visits to the site, as described in the next section.

Google Analytics and cookies

berry9.com uses Google Analytics 4, a measurement service from Google, to see how the site is used: which pages are viewed, the site that referred you, your approximate location, and the type of device and browser you use. It runs only if you accept it.

Your choice

On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the page asks whether you accept analytics. Until you choose "Accept analytics", the site does not load Google Analytics: nothing is requested from Google, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is measured. If you choose "Decline", it stays that way. The site remembers your choice in your browser's local storage, so the banner does not ask on every page. If your browser does not allow that storage, the banner asks again on each page and Google Analytics stays off until you accept.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Change analytics choice" link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing removes your stored choice, stops the measurement on the page you are on and removes the Google Analytics cookies from this site; Google Analytics is then not loaded on later pages unless you accept again.

What Google Analytics collects once you accept

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart, and the data it collects goes to Google, which handles it under its own policies and may process it outside India. Google says that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Your browser's IP address still reaches Google when the script loads, and Google uses it to estimate your approximate location. The analytics script is loaded from www.googletagmanager.com. When Google Analytics runs, the site also records taps on the phone, WhatsApp and email links, downloads of PDF files (with the file name), and whether the inquiry form was started or sent. Each of these records the page path, never the query string, and never the contents of the form.

Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and scripts

If your browser sends the Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as "Decline", even if you accepted earlier: it does not load Google Analytics at all, so no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics also runs only when your browser runs the site's scripts.

Other ways to stop the measurement

Once you have accepted, blocking or clearing cookies for berry9.com only limits how your visits are linked together; it does not stop the measurement. To stop it, use "Change analytics choice" and decline, or:

Why we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry and propose a scope and timeline.
  • To keep a record of that conversation.
  • To stop spam and abuse of the form.
  • To understand which pages are visited and how people find the site, through Google Analytics, if you accept it.

We use the details you send because you gave them to us by sending the form or contacting us. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see Your rights).

05

Who sees it

  • Our team, who answer inquiries.
  • Formspree, the form service that receives what you submit and emails it to us. Formspree also sees your IP address and browser details when the form is sent. It handles that data under its own policy and may process it outside India.
  • Our email provider, and WhatsApp if you message us there.
  • Google, through Google Analytics, if you accept it, as described in the section on Google Analytics and cookies.

This site loads its fonts from its own server.

We do not sell your details or use them for advertising. Information we receive while testing your systems is handled under your engagement agreement (NDA available on request), not under this notice.

06

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
