A VAPT and offensive security company in Hyderabad
BERRY9 IT SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, known in short as B9ITS, is a vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) company. Our work is offensive security: we look at your applications, networks and staff from an attacker's side, prove which weaknesses could really be used against you, and explain how to close them.
BERRY9 IT Services Private Limited was founded in 2015. The company is registered in India under CIN U72200TG2015PTC097395 and runs from a single office in Yellareddyguda, Hyderabad.

Adversary simulation
Red team exercises aimed at an agreed objective, and social engineering assessments that test how people respond to deception.

DevSecOps work on the pipeline that builds your software, and hands-on security training planned for your own teams.

03 / Method
How a test works at BERRY9
Every engagement follows the same five phases. Scoping comes first: we agree in writing what is in scope, what testing may touch and whom to phone if a test has to stop. Reconnaissance then maps what is exposed, and vulnerability identification combines manual work with automated checks, with an engineer weeding out false positives. In exploitation and risk analysis, every finding that survives triage is proven safely, and flaws that can be linked are followed through as one attack path. The last phase, reporting and remediation, delivers an executive report, an engineering report that scores each finding on CVSS 3.1 and gives its fix, and a remediation matrix. Our training division: Hacking Trainer Academy
BERRY9's training division (hackingtrainer.com) teaches security professionals. Named Hacking Trainer Academy, it runs courses for individuals in application security, in penetration testing of networks and Active Directory, and in SOC analysis together with DFIR (digital forensics and incident response).
Companies that want their own developers or engineers trained deal with BERRY9 directly. Those programs are planned around the company's stack and agreed in a proposal; the cyber security training for teams page explains how they work.

A certificate held by BERRY9 is about BERRY9. It is not a statement about the organizations we test, and a test report from us does not make anyone else certified.
BERRY9 holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate 26MEQVU27 and ISO 9001:2015 certificate 26MEQVL30.

Surveillance audits fall due in January 2027 and January 2028. Each certificate can be checked with the certification body that issued it.
06 / Team
The people who test
Tests are run by engineers, and scanners are used for coverage rather than in place of them. A finding reaches the report only after an engineer has confirmed it in your environment.

What BERRY9 is not
Some buyers need a firm with a particular status. These are the things BERRY9 is not, so you can tell early whether we fit.
No CERT-In empanelment
BERRY9 is not on the CERT-In list of empanelled auditors. Some regulators, tenders and contracts require an auditor from that list; if yours does, confirm it before you commission any test.
Not a certifier or auditor
We test systems; certifying or auditing an organization is not something BERRY9 does, and what an auditor accepts is the auditor's decision.
Not a chain of offices
There is one office, in Hyderabad. Clients in other cities are tested remotely, and on-site work is arranged when a test needs it.

Does BERRY9 hold CERT-In empanelment?
No, it does not. When a regulator, a tender document or a customer contract requires a CERT-In empanelled auditor, that part of the work has to go to a firm on the CERT-In list.
Does BERRY9 certify organizations for ISO 27001, SOC 2 or PCI DSS?
No. We test systems; certifying or auditing an organization is not something BERRY9 does, and what an auditor accepts is the auditor's decision. A BERRY9 report is evidence that your systems were tested, which you can hand to the auditor or assessor who makes that decision.
Where is BERRY9 based, and does it work outside Hyderabad?
BERRY9's only office is in Yellareddyguda, Hyderabad. Clients in other parts of India are served from that office over remote connections, and on-site work can be arranged when a test needs someone present.
How is Hacking Trainer Academy related to BERRY9?
It is BERRY9's training division, with its own website at hackingtrainer.com. The academy runs courses for individuals. Training for a company's own staff is arranged with BERRY9 itself.
